A defense-oriented Shaman specialization that calls upon the aid of spirits old and new to mitigate damage and avoid death.

Fallen Souls

Summon a wave of fallen souls, dealing 164 - 212 damage to all enemies they pass through. Each target hit reduces the cooldown of Spirit Link by 2 seconds.

Has a maximum range of 35 blocks.

Spirit Link

Cooldown: 8.6s

Energy Cost: 40

Crit Chance: 20%

Crit Multiplier: 175%

Links your spirit with up to 3 enemy players, dealing 236.2 - 446.2 damage to the first target hit. Each additional hit deals 20% reduced damage. You gain 40% speed for 1.5 seconds, and take 15% reduced damage for 4.5 seconds.

Has an initial cast range of 20 blocks.

Soulbinding Weapon

Cooldown: 21.9s

Energy Cost: 30

Your melee attacks BIND enemies for 2 seconds. Against BOUND targets, your next Spirit Link will heal you for 400 health (half for 2 nearby allies). Your next Fallen Souls will reduce the cooldown of all abilities by 1.5s. (0.5s for 2 nearby allies). Both buffs may be activated for each melee hit. Lasts 12 seconds.

Successful soulbind procs will grant you 25% knockback resistance for 1.2 seconds. (Max 3.6 seconds).

Active instances are now capped at two.

Repentance

Cooldown: 31.32s

Energy Cost: 20

Taking damage empowers your damaging abilities and melee hits, restoring health and energy based on 10 + 10% of the damage you've recently took. Lasts 12 seconds.

Death's Debt

Cooldown: 70.5

Energy Cost: 20

Spirits' Respite: Place down a totem that delays 100% of incoming damage towards yourself. Transforms into Death's Debt after 4-6 seconds (increases with higher health), or when you exit its 10 block radius.

Death's Debt: Take 50% of the damage delayed by Spirit's Respite over 6 seconds. The totem will heal nearby allies for 15% of all damage that you take. If you survive, deal 15% of the damage delayed to nearby enemies. Take aggro of all mobs within the radius of Death's Debt.

Successful Soulbind procs on enemies add 0.5s to your totem duration. (Cap of 6s).

Illusion Vanguard 1.3

    • Fallen Souls' damage upgrade branch has been changed from 7.5/15/22.5/30% to 15/30/45/60%.
    • Increased max active Soulbinding Weapon instances from 2 to 3.
    • Revengeance (Repentance Master) now also increases energy conversion based on damage taken by 50%.
    • Death's Debt base damage taken after the totem ends has been reduced from 100% to 50%, the master upgrade will further reduce this by 25%.
    • Ghoul's Gamble (Death's Debt Master) now grants you 80% knockback resistance during Spirits' Respite.

  • Death's Debt will now aggro mobs within its radius.
  • Ghoul's Gamble (Death's Debt Master) will now reduce damage taken by 50% instead of 25%.
